a visit to Singapore! in Minneapolis

Traveling through Minneapolis, I was intrigued by a Singaporean/Malaysian and Ethiopian "fusion" restaurant called "Singapore!" on 34th Ave South. This is a combined effort of two chefs and the result is well worth checking out!

Both the decor and the menu are bold and experimental. Not too many items on the menu, which apparently changes frequently, as the chefs are always expanding their food horizons. My night there, I had a fish cake and crab meat noodle soup, as well as captain's curry - apparently a favorite at a sister restaurant in Maplewood. Also of interest was the injera with curry lamb, as well as the Asian/Ethiopian spicy lamb.

The service was very friendly... hope others will give this innovative place a try!
