In searching on another site, I saw someone posted that on June 2's issue of the Chicago Tribune had an article indicating that Vienna Beef Hot Dogs has won a national distribution deal with Target Corp.
They will be selling their chicago dogs in 1,350 Target Stores food courts - complete with a steamed bun, mustard, relish, onion, tomato wedges, a kosher pickle spear, peppers and a dash of celery salt. The chain also will stock the hot dogs in its nearly 1,000 stores that sell food and refrigerated items.
They beat out Hebrew National and Best Kosher for the deal.
No mention if they will be available in California and/or when, if so. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!
