Vegetarian Palate - another vote! (kinda long)

We just tried Vegetarian Palate for the first time tonight and were darn pleased to say the least. We started with the spring roll sampler, which consisted of four different, delicately fried, large spring rolls. Some were better than others, but in all they were terrific. Again, they were quite large and only about $4. A great deal.

I had the faux chicken curry over steamed brown rice. The curry was extremely hearty and balanced, reminding me of my mom's own S. Indian veggie curry dishes. The chunks of chicken were plentiful, juicy, and full of flavor.

The wife had the sesame soy chicken. Although tasty, we both agreed that the chicken curry was the standout.

Total: $24 w/ tax and tip.

Bottom line is that we will be returning prontissimo. We will probably try another appetizer and then split an entree, as the portions are huge.

As Kerry and others have pointed out, it's not a fancy place, so I can understand why people are getting take out and delivery. Next time we'll probably just get take out.
