Well I hate to be negative but ... We got in today and our dinner tonight at gw Finn was jut ok. The oysters were good... Although we're experts at all on those.
I just really want Louisiana style fish.
I guess we'll go to gumbo shop for étouffée?
It's not even that gw was not traditional I knew that from the menu ahead of time but so many great reviews? It was ok.
We have two more nights before Christmas Eve. ( I think we're stuck on pelican club although I know the reviews are mixed). We have Irene's ( I know italian but I loved it 20 years ago) and we're going to Brigtsen's.
We'll prob just keep these , maybe add in Bon ton, coops and gumbo shop to get more traditional food.
I was just so disappointed with GW. Honestly don't care about atmosphere just want great food.
Many on here have suggested Clancy's. Is that the better choice at this point?
