Unglazed clay pots

rasputina | Sep 30, 201809:30 AM     1

I have some unglazed clay pots that have been in a box for about 5 years. I'm wondering if I should reseason them before using? I have a micaceous clay riffi, a riffi tagra and a bean pot. I've cooked with all of them but it's been a long time, as I couldn't find the box they were in after we moved. From what I remember the bean pot was seasoned with milk and the others were soaked in water before first use. It is lower humidity where I live and they were in the garage.

So reseason? Yes? No?
