Uncle Freddy's - Buffalo Grove

Hi!

I have not yet been to this place but I am posting for someone to check it out:

Uncle Freddy's is strip mall hot dog-hamburger-sandwich place which was recently purchased by an Asian. According to the take out menu: "Free Eggroll with Any Purchase!" Which also promises, "Eat Here or We Both Starve!!!" as well as "For Health Sake We're A Smoke Free Restaurant." So for a hot dog stand take out menu, a bit of personality begins to ring out.

Not on the usual hot dog menu are teriyaki sandwiches (beef, chicken, shrimp or vegetable) served with vegetables on pita or french roll. Teriyaki plates served with steam or fried rice and vegetables for the Teriyaki traditionalist!

Included in their combo meal deals, you know the old sandwich-fries-drink, you can choose Marinated Asian Style Beef Short Ribs Box Lunch includes rice, salad and large drink!

My friend talked to the proprietor who advised during lunch she offers an asian-style egg custard, which is off the menu.

So this is how people eat in the Suburbs ... occasionally.
