My wife and I ate dinner here last night. I really like this place for the quality of the food. Well prepared, very fresh tasting and with enough heat. We split two entrees, the sea food skewers, (shrimp and scallop + veggies) and the bbq chicken, plus one order of shrimp (Thai style) pot stickers with green curry sauce and an order of spicy pork fried rice. With a large Singha and a coke the dinner was $49, plus tip. Probably the best local Thai restaurant on the west side of the westside.
Tuk Tuk is on Pico Blvd. just a couple of blocks west of Robertson on the north side of the street, (8875 Pico).
We had also had dinner for the first time the night before at the Grand Lux cafe in the Beverly Center. While this is an offshoot of the Cheese Cake Factor their menu is somewhat different, (but still huge).
I tried their Max burger and it was really an excellent burger. They use "certified" Angus beef, (whatever the hell that means) and I ordered it rare. This was one very tasty, ultra juicy and delicious burger. It comes with cheese and mushrooms and some little strips of their short ribs on top, (talk about gilding the lilly).
The Beverly Center is on La Cienega Blvd. between 3rd St. and Beverly in West Hollywood.
