Tu y Yo

Appetizers: Tamales de oaxaca (small but very flavorful), Jalapenos Maris Luisa (very spicy, tomato sauce was a nice contrast)
Entrees: Chile relleno de Camaron (Shrimp stuffed Poblano Peppers), Concha de Jaiba y Camaron (blue crab and shrimp with cheese on scallop shell). Both were excellent
Dessert: Flan (decent), Cafe de Olla (smelled great but I like my cafe sweeter and thicker)

Great atmosphere, pretty authentic Mexican food, decent prices (Seafood entrees in the mid to upper teens, meat entrees in low to mid teens). No reservations but on a Friday night 15 minute wait at the bar with a pitcher of sangria is not too bad. A little out of the way though. I will definitely come back here again. Having lived in Texas and California before moving to Boston, I miss Mexican and Tex Mex (please let me know if there is a great Tex Mex place).

Craigie Street Bistrot
If you haven't been for the $35 Sunday night Chef' Choice menu you are missing out. IMHO it is definitely one of the best deals in town. Expertly prepared food, good quality meats/vegetables, cozy atmosphere. This is not fast dining, be prepared to wait a bit between dishes. Great place for conversation and food. Wish I lived closer. I can never get enough of their Sour Cream Panna Cotta.

We went for Mother's Day, sat behind Ana and her family. I know everyone loves this place, I was neutral. Perhaps it was because she wasn't cooking and was eating with her family, maybe we ordered the wrong things or maybe I just don't like Mediterrean fusion but I'm going to shut up and duck for cover now. I will go back again when the weather is nicer, the patio looks lovely and its worth another try.
