I thought that the concept of this board was to provide space for critical analysis of those places one would want to go to on a (semi) regular basis. Am I wrong to assume this? Is this a food-snob forum? Should I look elsewhere? I know the value and quality and I can appreciate the ambience and overall experience of Trotters (twice), Tru (once), Trio (never), but these places are featured in gourmet publications regularly. And, before you write me off as unknowledgeable, my qualifications are as sous-chef/garde mangier, most recently at the Ambassador West hotel, and restaurant owner in Roanoke, Va.
