Trendy Japanese Deli coming to Ferry Building Market Hall

Gary Soup | Dec 20, 200311:52 AM     13

Delica RF1, a Japanese deli/cafe, chain is opening soon in the Ferry Building. I was skeptical about the food, since it is said to be a 300+ outlet chain in Japan, but I posted a query about it on a Japan-centric forum on another message board and got only positive feedback. It's apparently become a staple in upscale sopping mall food courts in Asia, and anyone who's been there knows that the quality of food there is much higher than in American mall food courts. RF1's menu is posted below; it's in Japanese, but the pictures are enticing.

Anybody familiar with RF1?
