I picked this up for one night I didn't feel like cooking. The box says 45 minutes in the oven or 5 in the microwave. I chose the quick route. Now pesto to me should be bold and it should hit you at first sniff. My mother used to make it fresh and for 1/4 lb of pasta you would only need a spoonful. It was that potent. Well this one didn't have that power and was leaning towards the bland side. I added about a half a tablespoon of garlic powder and about a half a teaspoon of salt and pepper. It ended up being pretty decent. Surpisingly the tortellini was perfect. Soft but with a slight bite (definitely not al dente).
I'm not 100% sure, but for $2.99 it was a nice inexpensive meal. Had a side of creamed corn that I added butter, salt and pepper (and a dash of cumin), and it was a nice light dinner for one under $4.
