Tourist in Brisbane - Need Recs

demigodh | May 4, 201511:32 AM     11

Hi All,

I'll be visiting from the U.S. next month for an education conference in Brisbane. I'll be staying at the NEXT hotel (72 Queen St) and the conference is at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Center. I have no car and will be on foot or public transport. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations y'all have. I will truly eat anything, cheap or expensive, and ideally would like to find something that is A) uniquely Australian (even better if it's unique to Brisbane) and/or B) incredibly delicious. I just learned about the trip yesterday so I'm beginning my research here. Any advice you can give to point me in the right direction would be fantastic. Thanks.
