A formerly active chowhound who moved to the burbs, had some kids, and hasn't eaten at a restaurant in the city in two years needs your help!
We've got some good friends coming to town. We're gonna leave the kids with a babysitter and head to SF. I'm hoping to try one of the great places that has opened up in the past few years. The only problem is that we are now completely out of touch with the scene and I don't have the time to comb through thousands of chowhound posts!
Cuisine is not particularly important, although our guests are not incredibly adventurous. Price not particularly an issue either. I just want some good food, good atmosphere, etc. They're staying in Union Square, so I guess that something in that general vicinity would be best.
Thanks for any repliese to this vague post!
