Toro Bravo or Little Bird?

ms. mika | Aug 17, 2011 10:50 AM

We'll be in Portland just 2 nights, on either end of our trip, staying at the Nines. We don't want to drive to dinner, so we can enjoy some cocktails, so we'd like a delicious spot that's either within walking distance or a short cab ride.

On the last night we are going to Andina and on the first night I'm debating between Toro Bravo or Little Bird. The menu looks more appealing at Toro Bravo, but I'm a little concerned about the no reservations part- what's the wait typically like on a Thursday night?

If we don't go to Little Bird for dinner, I'm thinking about going for lunch since it's near the hotel, unless there's another lunch spot nearby I should consider instead. We'll have just flown in, so just want a nice relaxed lunch.

Last question- any creative cocktail destination type spots in downtown Portland? Again, near our hotel or dining destinations?
