Toluca Lake/Burbank/North Hollywood joints

These areas seem to sort of meld into one another so I'm not always sure which joint is in which place, but was out there the other day and past a bunch of joints, anyone have any words on them that would be great.

First off:

Porto's Bakery on Magnolia and Hollywood Way, it looks like it's a new location of the orignial in Glendale (is that right?) and what's more this place was packed, just dropped in to pick-up a menu and didn 't actually get the chance to try it. Is it supposed to be a Cuban-inspired bakery?

Joe's Bar and Grill also on Magnolia, I think, it looks like it might just be the kind of bar to get a good beer and a burger, but then again I could be completely off base. Is it any good?

Jack's Classic Old Fashioned Burgers, located where Riverside Dr. sort of bends into Tujunga, strange intersection, but this a basic fast-food shack. But it could have decent burgers ( a la Big Jo's). But who knows? I don't

Mardi gras - any good.

oh, and at the fast-food version of Sasabune on Riverside and Laurel Canyon, I had a great iced sweetened green tea, good stuff, and when I tried the fast-food sushi a few months back it was pretty good, so people that like Sushi Sasabune on Wilshire, now there's a new take out fast-food version serving the same type of stuff almost at this tiny joint, with a few tables, and no counter or sushi chefs upfront. looks more like a cookie-cutter amerizcanized chinese takeout joint.
