A Toast, to Toast

Oh toast. You've always been there. From the start. You've never let me down. Whether with peanut butter or just, plain, simple butter, you're always so delicious. It's no wonder why more and more restaurants are dishing you out for the breakfast crowd and brunch junkies. Just the right amount of crispy and wholesome, wheat or white, you're always a delight. At home or out, I can't resist. Add eggs, avocado and a sprinkle of cheese; please. So next time at brunch, I'll raise my mimosa and salute the chef who brought you from the kitchen at home to the menu here and wonder why I just paid $10 for you. ...But it's SO good. A toast, to toast. The no-fail breakfast staple.
