Vacation tomorrow. Hallelujah! Three weeks running around in Tibet. I have been to Nepal before and am reasonably familiar with Nepali food--and like it. But my experiences with Tibetan are markedly fewer. I had Tibetan food in Nepal a few times as well as in this country. But I am writing to ask whether anyone knows of any special culinary delights that I should look (or ask) for when there. Admittedly this is not a cuisine known for its flair--or flavor. Still, there may be an aficionado out there who can point me to something unexpected or exotic that I won't be able to get elsewhere.
