Had a beautiful meal at Thuet on Wednesday night (after being informed of the wait time at Rodneys). Ordered off the menu, I had Lobster rissotto to start and my date had the gnocchi with sweatbreads both were lovely after being outside in the fall chill..

For our mains I had the Elk tenderloin with figs I think.. it was an amazing match the sweet and the game... my date had the beef tenderloin with beef cheeks and said it was wonderful..

came to just over $200 with wine before tax and tip..

PS As we were about to leave I heard the waiter tell the chef that a customer had a craving for Frites and that he told them that thuet does not serve frites on the menu. Marc scowled at the waiter and told him to go back to the table and tell them that he would of course make them Frites and that anytime someone makes a special request that if they have the ingredients that they will make it... As I got up to leave Marc himself was slicing up the potatos...

Now thats what I call customer service...
