Thoughts on Range, Maverick or the Public for large group?

Amy H. | Apr 6, 2006 02:17 PM

I'm putting together a dinner for large group from work -- probably 12-16 people. Does anyone have any thoughts about some of the new(ish) Mission and/or SOMA places -- Range, Maverick or the Public? Did not find anything in searching for posts on these three. We would prefer a restaurant where we will not be limited to a set or pre-selected menu with that large a group, as Slanted Door and Limon require, for example.

Also under consideration -- Town Hall (the upstairs room); Citizen Thai & the Monkey; Scott Howard. Town Hall most people have been to once already; I wasn't impressed with the food at Citizen Thai; and Scott Howard may be too pricey for this particular event.

Places we've been for this dinner in the past that worked well -- Delfina, Medjool, Andalu, Alma.

Thanks for your advice!
