Thanks to the people who posted earlier we tried the trout crepe app., pork cheeks, cod schnitzel and linzertorte. Everything was very good. The coffee in particular was superb. I've never been to Austria or Germany but the room, food and service certainly seemed authentic to me (and better than I've had in Alsace). My only criticism is the Manhattan prices for desserts and some pedestrian by-the-glass wines. I think the rent here is a little lower than at Cafe Sabarsky. This deters me from making a special trip in the future but I'd certainly go back before a BAM movie. . .
