Thanksgiving rituals of thankfulness

Every year I think about Thanksgiving - all the work that goes into it is mainly a pleasure (a labor of love actually) because when I see my relatives and friends gathered together at my table I really do feel blessed. (That word alone is pretty overwhelming to say or write as I am not overly religious, although culturally I am Jewish).
Anyway, I'm wondering if people have any wonderful ideas regarding rituals to share those feelings of gratitude, togetherness, harmony, whatever, which are not prayer based - after so much preparation I'm not sure I want to just throw the food on the table and dig right in without some words, or silence, whatever...
