Thai Tip - Albuquerque, NM

ciaogal | Mar 12, 2008 03:55 PM

I am working in Albuquerque this week...and have been craving somthing spicy that didn't include green chili as the prominent ingredient.

One of my clients this morning told me I had to try Thai Tip, a family owned store front Thai restaurant. Mom is the Chef (Tip), Dad and Son were working the front of the House!

My Client didn't steer me wrong.
We started w/ 2 cups of soup...a Tom Ka w/ chicken and a Tom Yum with chicken...both medium spice. The medium spice was more of a 8-10. It was fabulous! The flavors were bursting...savory, spicy, and comforting.
We followed w/ a Pad Thai and a Panang Curry w/!

Thai Tip is a hidden Gem. It is reminiscent of LOS in Las Vegas w/out the breadth of menu...most of the menu offerings were more main stream...but all prepared to order and made w/ love!
For a Family run operation...Thai Tip takes the cake!

If we had had more room...we would have had the Mango and sticky coconut rice.

I feel a retun visit in the near future!
