An Internet search still pulls up numerous references to the since moved and name-changed Lu Ding Gee in Goldworld Plaza in San Gabriel. So if you were to open up a Shanghai style restaurant at that location, what would you call it? Why, Tasty Duck, of course. Tasty Duck has many of your Shanghai favorites--Wuxi ribs, yellow fish, Shanghai noodles and dumplings, rice cakes and bean curd sheets with soybeans, etc. And, they have the house specialty, Beijing roast duck. The Shanghai food was pretty good. I passed on the duck, which needs to be ordered an hour in advance.
