tanoreen mid=east fusion

Went over to Tanoreen, our fav in Bay Ridge. The madam of the joint (can't remember her name, but she's fabulous and very proud of her place and the food served there) was exceptionally gracious, as always. She had a spectacular chicken dish, with some dulcid mix of spices lodged just under skin to serve us, as well as a super lamb shank with baby okras. They were really babies. It was almost some of sin to eat them, being so little and all, but we did anyhow. Somehow they've got it worked out to serve a pan-mideast cuisine.

The place was not so crowded on Sat., although it did fill up some. Afterwards, there's always the sheesha places on 5th Avenue for a little buzz.
