I'm making a batch of tamales this weekend and a friend suggested that there was a recipe years ago in a magazine like Sunset (?) for tamales that were cooked in a muffin tin. You line the tin with tamale leaves, spoon some masa, top with filling, more masa, cover with more leaves, tent with foil and steam in the oven. Does anyone know of this exact cooking method. I'm gonna try it. But am hoping for a little more info from sombody who knows what they're doin'!!
