We had dinner at Table28 in East Greenwich Sunday night. The food is too expensive for such terrible service. The place was half empty, and although we were not on a time schedule, it should not have taken 50 minutes for entrees to arrive, nor should the little necks on the half shell that I ordered as an appetizer have been brought with my entree. The two chicken entrees arrived cold with cold vegetables and had to be sent back; my entree which was a dinner salad with grilled shrimp arrived with chicken instead. I sent it back and the corrected salad did not arrive until my two companions were half way through their re-heated entrees. I would like to know if our experience was consistent with that of others who have dined there. I am normally pretty patient about this sort of thing when it is apparent that a place is abnormally busy, but Table 28 was nowhere near busy.
