Table Talk with Chef Seamus Mullen of Real Food Heals

The Chowhound Team | Jan 2, 201802:13 PM     18

Happy New Year, Chowhounds!

Ready to get back on track after the scrumptious and indulgent holidays? Chef Seamus Mullen is here to help us achieve our healthy food goals in 2018.

Seamus Mullen is an award-winning chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and health and wellness expert. Having grown up on an organic farm in Vermont, Seamus learned early in life the value of eating real, whole foods and he carried this knowledge with him as he cooked throughout Spain, New York and San Francisco. His first solo restaurant, Tertulia, opened in Manhattan in 2011 and was recognized as a finalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant. In 2013 he opened El Colmado, a Spanish tapas and wine bar in Gotham West Market. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2007 Seamus was forced to rethink his relationship with food and through diet, exercise and lifestyle changes he was able to turn his health around and to thrive. His first cookbook, Hero Food was published in 2012, and his second Real Food Heals: Eat to Feel Younger + Stronger Everyday was released by Avery Press in August 2017.

We'll be taking your questions from now through January 15th.

As a 'thank you,’ we're giving two lucky members a copy of Real Food Heals: Eat to Feel Younger + Stronger Everyday https://www.amazon.com/Real-Food-Heal.... To participate, just send us your questions and we’ll email you a link to enter for a chance to win.
