I'm looking for the best ground coffee I can buy in a local supermarket. My biggest complaint with the coffee I buy, even premium arabica coffee is the bitterness. I understand that any packaged coffee is not going to be comparable to freshly roasted and ground coffee, but for economic and logistical reasons I'm not able to purchase mail-order or specialty shop coffee.
My local supermarkets are ShopRite, Pathmark, Walbaums (owned by A&P) and (soon to open) Stop and Shop. I can also occasionally get to a Wegmans, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe but they're not local so I couldn't use them for my regular coffee.
I'm not looking for the best possible cup of coffee, just something better than awful to drink regularly and in quantity. Flavored coffees are okay.
