Summer Fun

Gateshead | May 18, 2003 02:47 PM

In the past, every time I have asked for help, the local Chow Hounds have come through with flying colors. I come again with a request for help.

With the summer weather hopefully coming upon us reasonable soon, my wife and I like to take day trips from Baltimore, usually traveling no more than 125 miles each way. We always have a destination and it is usually a nice lunch restaurant, although we also enjoy stopping off to visit local places of interest either coming or going.

Now, for the requested help. Will the local Chow Hounds take a moment and add a note to this request with the names and addresses of restaurants, within the 125 mile range from Baltimore, either with an unusual menu or special dish they are noted for or some historically interesting place to have lunch. The eating places can be a diverse as take outs (if they are known for something special) to one of the many Colonial Inns serving lunch.

I suspect that your inputs will be of interest to all our local users.
