My company ordered lunch from here today after a coworker ate there last week and liked it. Relatively new Lebanese place in North Andover, I believe.
Sam, the owner, is very solicitious on the phone; making sure the order for 15 people is correct. I had the Grape Leaves Pita - two small wrapped grape leaves filled with a mix of rice, ground sirloin, mint, and "Mediterranean spices". The mint wasn't overpowering, the spicing was a bit lighter than I had expected, but those of us who got the Grape Leaves Pita still thought it was very good. I think if I went in to ask (or called), they'd probably be wiling to at least let me know what's in the Mediterranean spice mix. I'm thinking they could add a bit more to what all of us had without anyone complaining.
The Lunch specials come with fries or rice and canned sodas - most of us got fries - double-fried and very good, even after steaming a bit in the brown paper bags the sandwiches. The Falafel Pitas were well received, as was the Mediterranean Tuna Pita.
Someone got the Chicken Shawarma Pita - he said it was OK - not spiced enough for him (maybe more garlic spread would help?). The kebob plates (chicken or beef tenderloin) were rated as good - but not great.
I got some baklawa "fingers" for everyone to try - just the right amount of sweetness and not dripping with sugary honey.
There are still several things I'd want to try - the Kafta plate or kebob, the Sfouf, the Ma’anick Pita, the Spinach and Feta Pie - so I'm thinking we'll order again from here for a company lunch.
