Can I substitute butter for crisco in coffee cake recipe?

Can I substitute butter for crisco in a coffee cake recipe?I am concerned about trans-fats.I know that crisco has a new trans-fat free version, but I havent been able to find it in my area.
What would the finished product be like?Would I need to make any other alterations? There is also a pint of sour cream in the recipe and a ribbon of cinnamon, brown sugar, nuts and butter in the middle and on top-it is SOOOO good!
Thank you in advance
