Streit's Organic KLP Matzoh

I bought a box of this on a whim a couple of weeks ago. I am not a strictly organic person, but my local matzohmonger offered me a box at the same price as the regular Streit's [my preferred brand], so I decided to give it a try.

I just [literally; mere moments ago] tried my first piece and am writing to say that I am truly impressed. I ate it as I most enjoy it: spread with butter [in this case fresh local butter than I get from an Amish farmer at a farmer's market] and Redmond Ancient Kosher Sea Salt.

It held up well to the spreading of the butter without cracking. The flavor, while not strong, was definitely more 'there' than regular Streit's. Curiously, there seemed to be a lot less crumbs generated by the eating process than with normal matzoh. I eat it strictly by the rows [isnt that exactly what they're there for? <said with tongue planted firmly in cheek>], a method my late clean-freak father used to say was designed to purposely generate the most crumbs possible.

Dad, they finally made a matzoh with you in mind!

I'll be getting this more often.
