Within the last couple of weeks Stoney Knob has introduced a new menu. This one groups about 4 or 5 entrees each into different "world cuisine" sections such as Italian, Thai etc. Stoney Knob is a faithful and consistent standby for us so we were thrilled to see some new things. I had a stacked beet appetizer layered with a creamy goat cheese, rolled in pumpkin seeds and drizzled with tahini dressing....wow! I could eat this just about every day. I also tried a new shrimp with appetizer with won ton chips and guacamole salsa...kind of a different take on chips and salsa....this one needs some work as the shrimp were large and tasty and the won ton small and crispy. Just logistics, but it was awkward to eat....cut the shrimp and carefully put on the wonton....eat the shrimp and then eat the won ton? Dip into the guac salsa???
Overall there are more fish items and they have a chop (steak) menu that I didn't look too carefully at but seemed like you could order different size steaks and then with different sides and sauces.
They said a new/better dessert menu is also in the works.
