Without the Soy, please!!!

My family and I love Asian foods. However, the problem we run into is a high percentage of the recipes call for soy sauce. My wife and daughter are allergic to soy and we all can do without the high level of salt. Are there recipes without soy or substitutes that can be used and still retain the flavor and integrity of the dish.
