I've got to say, I really wanted this place to be good because it's only about a 5 minute drive from my house. No such luck, though.

Went there the other night with 3 friends. Each ordered an entree and we got a couple of orders of fresh rolls. It was all sub-par except for one dish - I forget the proper name for the noodle, but it was the wide rice noodle, with beef. Very good, reminded me of the thai "pad see u" (yes, I'm spelling phoenetically because I have no idea how that one's written. The beef was very tender and well seasoned and the dish disappeared.

Unfortunately, everything else kind of stunk. There was a pork dish that was probably dry-fried and it tasted way too much like you were licking the bottom of the wok. A squid dish had hardly any squid in it, and garlicky greens (they were all out) had to be substituted for broccoli which wasn't worth it either. Service was absolutely terrible (there were two people serving and only 4 tables seated!) and the bill without tip - and with no drinks - was about $55, which seemed a little pricey for pho. Anyhow, had it been fantastic, who would have cared about the price!

I wonder if the mistake was just not getting pho and calling it a day, but after paying so much for a bad meal I just don't think I can try that again.
