I hope someone can help me. I run a little soup kitchen along with my some friends (Cape Town, South Africa) and I've received a large donation of fruit, including many (many) pineapples. Even though we're in the middle of winter, I intend to slice the fruit and hand them out when we next distribute soup on Thursday however, I will still be left with a lot of pineapples - most of these having already turning.
Does anyone have any ideas of what we can do with the pineapples? We fund the soup and bread ourselves and occasionally receive wonderfully generous donations.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Very best regards
