I get together with some of my chowhound friends here at work every holiday season for a celebratory lunch or dinner at a nice restaurant. In past years we've dined at Vong, Le Colonial, Four Seasons, China Grill, An American Place, Mr. Chow's, Brasserie, and Lespinasse (for the record, we found Vong, Four Seasons and Lespinasse the very best, Le Colonial and Mr. Chow's less than sublime, Brasserie fun, China Grill a little shabby, and were disappointed by An American Place).
Since we only do this once a year, I'd like it to be someplace special that we haven't tried before, and within walking distance of where most of us work, the Citicorp building at 53rd and Lexington. Any ideas or recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
