Back last week from 18 days on Oahu, Kauai and Maui.
Thanks to the forum for steering us to Alan Wongs in Oahu (best meal on trip was their tasting menu) and David Pauls in Lahaina. Nothing else was really memorable I'm afraid, even the shrimp trucks and plate lunches.
Oh, forgot Irifune in Oahu and the bakery on the same road that made the maladosas (sic) -- very good when hot from the oven.
Found out about the $2.50 Mai Tais at the Blue something bar (lower level) in The Wharf complex in Lahaina across from the Pioneer Inn -- awesome.
