My partner is a former NY'er (we are talking 30 years ago) with fond memories of Italian food. He wants to know where to go to get a delicious diavolo. He's taking me to Chez Panisse for our annual holiday lunch (hope they have their amazing brick-oven roasted crab)and I promised to search for ideas from those in the know as to where to go. We'll be visiting your town in February and don't even have winter coats- now that's another story.
So has this been debated? I searched but nothing came up. Any insights/recommendations that you have would be greatly appreciated.
