With the kids gone for the summer, Midwood Mary and I like to go out for dinner (esp. early in the week, when the crowds aren't an issue) that includes decent food and a bottle of wine. But we aren't wine buffs, so expensive and impressive wine lists don't do it for us. We'd rather pay for more expensive entrees, since the difference is more obvious to our palates. The only other requirement is a menu that includes a fish option or two, since that's what Mary tends towards. (Outdoor seating and tables that aren't too cramped are also plusses, but not req'd)
We tend to eat most often in the Slope and around Smith St, but are ready for anywhere in Brooklyn you hounds care to recommend. Thanks.
