Seasoning before sous vide- already vacuum packed

When I buy things like chicken already vacuum packed (at Costco) or do my own vacuum sealing after purchase, it is very convenient to sous vide from the freezer right in the pouch. Obviously, it would be ideal to season with salt and pepper at least before cooking.

I am wonder how big of a difference it will make seasoning after sous vide, before searing. Of course, I get that beforehand is ideal and that is what I would do if the meat wasn't already packaged.
