i remember eating here perhaps a year ago and the food was totally ethereal. i don't know why people are into mission 261 (the food is bland, overpriced, and generally appeals to those who lack melanin, in my opinion!) or new concept. but anyway, i ate here three or four months ago and the food went down by a notch or two. has anyone experienced something similar?
if so, what's another good dim sum place in the sgv (the only place i'd ever have dim sum in southern california)? empress pavilion does not do it for me and ocean star is decent, but didn't compare to sea harbour circa winter 2004.
i apologise if i sound a little too judgmental...compromising good chinese food for ambience breaks my heart.
