Does anyone have Scott Conant's Scarpetta cookbook?

I'm looking for an opinion whether a recipe is accidently missing a step or if it's me that's missing something?

On page 266 there's a recipe for Polenta Dumplings that has egg yolks and flour that are uncooked or baked? It seems the mixture should be baked.
