Passed by Fusion Delights (Délices Fusion) yesterday. It's a tea room and fusion cuisine restaurant/catering service in NDG (5667 Sherbrooke, close to Vendome metro, 481-7698, firstname.lastname@example.org).
Noticed that they had English scones. Had been looking for real scones for quite a while. These were excellent. Very close to actual English scones and quite far from the typical crumblecake that chain cafés call "scones."
The owners (an Italian vegetarian woman and her British-Lebanese husband) are planning to have clotted cream soon. Service was fabulous. The place was charming, well-lit, and not at all stuffy. The tea was really good and their selection was somewhat outside of the usual choices. Had one that was very high in antioxidant and quite flavourful (can't remember the name). They also had rooibos, sencha, etc. They serve their teas the British way, in a very hot pot.
What's more, they were very personable and seemed to care a lot about their patrons. They've been opened for about three months now (as of late April, 2006).
