Old Sassoon Bakery (Lebanese/Armenian)

Miss-Eat-A-Lot | Feb 11, 200612:05 PM

I've being going frequently to the Old Sassoon Bakery in Pasadena the last week. The Old Sassoon Bakery is on Allen north of the Marshall Fundamental Secondary school before Washington. It is on the east side of Allen.

They have the best cheese pies, soujuk cheese pies, and zatar pies. They also have some great cookies and baklava. Be sure to try the pies warm when they first come out of the oven around 8 AM or warm them up before eating.

I grew up in Detroit with great Lebanese food and this comes pretty close to the Lebanese food back home.
