Santa Fe Pale Ale

MOREKASHA | Jun 24, 200811:35 AM

I hadn't had this beer since about 92-93, when I used to get it in DC. I was wondering why it hadn't made the Micro's of the 80's thread. Well, I was in Bierkraft the other night (Brooklyn) had low and behold there it was. It's a very nice pale ale, with a lovely body, good hop aroma and so, so different from all the mega hopped, over the top beers we see today. Now, I like a good Imperial/Mega/super duper IPA as much as the next beer geek, but a lovely pale ale is a true work of art. A pretty good session beer. Other slike this are Real Ale Pale Ale (Blanco TX) and the late great Pyramid Pale Ale, Seattle.
