Best Salmon Ever

djvmurphy | Jan 14, 201511:54 AM

Granted, I liked eating Salmon before I tried the sous vide method.....my previous experience was to marinate Salmon in a pan with the juices of orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, and pineapple...refrigerate for a few hours and then cook in same pan for 10+ minutes or so on low heat. But since I'm a new sous vide "cooker"....this time I sealed the Salmon along with two table spoons of orange, lemon, and lime juice plus a pinch or two of dried dill and then refrigerated it for 24 hours....took it out for dinner and "soust" it for 30 minutes at 54c. It was the best tasting Salmon I have ever eaten.
