Mme Grubbe has been dealing w a serious jones for salade nicoise for months now. W all of its 20,000 restos, surely LA has one that serves a classic nicoise w fresh tuna. Or maybe this pursuit is as futile as her cassoulet search.
Even our fav lil darlins like Angelique Café & Café Laurent prepare their nicoises w canned (!) tuna. [In the vast universe of Grubworld, canned tuna & sardines are about the only foods on the Grubbers wont eat if theres tree bark available list.]
