Just had another great meal at Sabur, with a bunch of friends. Started with a quince/pomegranate vodka martini, intensely flavored but nicely balanced. We shared goat cheese broiled in a bed of roasted peppers, with toasts; grilled shrimp with an amazing aoli, and a green salad with pears. For entree, I got wonderful, well-prepared scallops with a green sauce and a beautiful to look at/very tasty beet risotto. Unfortunately, I had to pick someone up at the airport so I missed the desserts that were coming.
Always good food, beautifully prepared and presented, at Sabur. This is not the place to come when you want a hamburger, but if you want a beautiful, tasteful, satisfying, slightly off the beaten path meal, you will be so happy you ended up here.
