I need help!
I have tried numerous recipes for plain coconut macaroons, (not the French version) with no success.
Each time I have the exact same problem- the liquid portion runs out onto the cookie sheet, forming a hard
little pool of goo around each cookie, and then the cookie that's left is hard and sticky. I have tried with and without parchment paper, thin cookie sheets and thick cookie sheets, recipes with egg whites only, and recipes with whole eggs. I also tried one with sweetened condensed milk.
What is going on? Are there any macaroon experts out there that can help me?
